One-time settlement or OTS may be a form of compromise settlement executed by the banks so as to recover non-performing assets (NPAs). OTS may be a scheme where the borrower (the one who has defaulted) proposes to settle all the dues without delay, and banks comply with accept an amount lesser than what was originally due
